And the 2012 Emmy Nominations are…

The 2012 Emmy nominations were announced earlier this morning, so let the ranting and raving about this year’s snubs begin! You can check out a full list over at Cinema Blend. Personally, I don’t think any list will ever be perfect until I see Nick Offerman on it for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (yes male Modern Family cast, you need to stop hogging it). However, I was ecstatic that newcomers American Horror Story and Girls received nominations. And as for all of the spot on SNL nominations, there was definitely a Hidden Valley Ranch party going on in my mouth.

 

 

 

 

The Emmy Awards will take place on Sept. 23.

Weekend Wrap

Although I would love to wish everyone a Happy Monday, I find myself still wiping some tears after Kristen Wiig’s farewell early Sunday morning.  If you haven’t seen it yet, follow the link (and bring a box of tissues, or at least keep a tab open of Stefon for an immediate pick-me-up).  Now onto some headlines…
